CYBERTAG operator training checklist for new arenas
Briefing scripts, fleet checks, software scenarios and peak-hour rotation — a one-page checklist for front desk and maze operators.
Equipment quality sets the ceiling; operators set daily revenue. A short, repeatable training checklist keeps games on time, reduces gear damage and improves reviews.
Before opening
- Radio base link test — all sets and AUL online in CYBERTAG software.
- Battery levels and energizer schedule for the shift.
- Scenario list loaded for weekday vs weekend packages.
- POS prices, birthday packages and waiver process confirmed.
Each group
- Headcount, age mix, special rules (no climbing, no running in corridors).
- Vest fit and blaster check — straps, sensors, trigger test.
- 60-second rules briefing in the staging area, not inside the maze.
- Start/stop from operator station; watch for late joiners.
Between games
5–10 minute turnaround: collect gear, wipe contacts, swap low batteries, queue next scenario. Two operators at peak — one in maze, one at desk — is minimum for malls.
After shift
Log damaged sets, charge full fleet, export stats for marketing (top scores, birthday highlights). LaserArena includes operator training in turnkey deliveries — ask about training for your team.
