How many laser tag sets for a 300 m² indoor arena
Fleet sizing for a 300 m² indoor maze: concurrent players, spare sets, energizer capacity and CYBERTAG kit tiers.
“How many laser tag sets do I need?” is the first equipment question for a 300 m² indoor arena. The answer depends on peak concurrent players, maze layout and how fast you rotate groups — not on floor area alone.
Start with peak load, not average Tuesday
Size the fleet for the busiest hour (Saturday afternoon, holidays). If you book 14-player birthday blocks back-to-back, you need 14 working sets plus 1–2 spare — not 10 sets and hope for fast changeovers.
300 m² indoor maze — typical ranges
- Compact layout (open lanes, fewer corners): ~12–16 concurrent players comfortably.
- Rich maze (multiple routes, levels, AUL points): ~16–20 players without crowding.
- Peak bookings: add 2 spare sets charging while a group plays.
Layout matters as much as square meters — share a plan for a precise count. Our maze design guide covers zoning with player flow.
CYBERTAG kit mapping (indicative)
- Start / Optima — entry indoor club ~10–15 players.
- Smart — regional mall or FEC with weekends ~15–20 players.
- Pro / Elite — high-traffic indoor arena with parallel groups or 20+ peak.

Energizer and rotation
At 300 m² you often run 15–20 minute games with 5–10 minute gaps. An energizer must recharge the sets you use in the next slot while the current group plays — otherwise peak revenue caps below fleet size.
Quick formula
Sets needed = peak concurrent players + spare (1–2) + birthday buffer if you run parties during open play.
